Long Beach, CA (lbx-ca)

A picture walk around the pop...(didn't really figure out what the sign on the back of the power cabinet meant.)

We decided to remove the old thinnet while we were in the site.

The 7000 here was mounted on the floor...well, I guess just kinda sitting on the floor, not really mounted. (pas-ca is the same way! I'm noticing a not-so-great theme for the LA basin and rack mounting routers.)

We also found a Primary Access modem rack up and running (not taking any calls, of course, but powered up.) Netcom hasn't used these modem racks since somewhere mid-to-late 1995. I decided to shut this one off, as the modem racks tend to generate more heat than one of the original analog USR racks.
